On March 30, a family from Limuru lost six of their loved ones and their home assistant's child in an accident on the Naivasha-Longonot highway.
The accident left the community shocked as authorities continued to investigate its source.
The bodies of the seven were taken to the time of the family and friends were watching it before their funeral.
In a video shared by Bro Favour Kenyan MC, one woman seems to be helped to get down the stairs to enter the corpse while crying in pain.
Another was seen walking weak towards the entrance door while he was being held.
“Sadness times in the Naivasha concepts while looking at the corpses of six relatives of the same family. God we ask for calmness of the heart,” Said Kenyan.
The deceased are Peter Mwangi Kirubi and his two brothers, Francis Muturi, George Ngugi Kirubi and three children identified as Fidelis, Catherine, and Vitalic.
The memorial service of the deceased took place on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Kamirithu Secondary School, and the funeral took place on Tuesday, April 7, starting at 2am at their Eburu family farm, Naivasha.
According to reports, seven family members died that day, but one of them was the son of their home maid.
The assistant explained why they agreed to bury their first child.
According to the sad woman, she allowed people to bury their baby first to give other families a chance to continue their funeral, which would be more expensive.
