Information about George Oduor's burial trip
In a formal funeral notice, the family participated that the worship of the dead would be conducted on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the House of Grace, Nairobi West, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
Additionally, family and friends gather daily in his residence in the NHC court in Lang'ata, phase 3, starting at 5:00 pm for prayer and assistance.
His body will leave Montezuma's funeral shelter on Friday, April 11, to his village in Ndori, Siaya County.
The last funeral service and funeral will take place on Saturday, April 12, at Ramba High School, located less than a mile from the family's home.
In the notice, the family remembered Oduor not only as a loyal protector to the former prime minister but also as a dedicated husband, father and great family member.
“George, in the hands of God you rest in peace, in our hearts we cherish you forever,” The family wrote in the announcement.
Additionally, the family has expressed gratitude for being poured out for compassion and prayer.
They also demanded that those who want to support funeral arrangements send their contributions can be sent via Mpesa Paybill 891300, account number 113470.
Interestingly, when relatives and loved ones were listed in the announcement, no children were mentioned, a statement that left many questioning whether Oduor had any children.
Oduor passed away on Wednesday, April 2, at Nairobi West Hospital, after being admitted for two weeks.
He served honestly with Raila Odinga, who was often seen on his side during political activities and public events.
