- The 84 -year -old had a good job where he got the name as a strong human rights advocate who did not hesitate to tell the truth to power
- He was also one of the 42 -member teams that represented Raila Odinga in his case against the results of the 2022 general election
Renowned human rights lawyer and attorney general Pheroze Nowrojee has left the world and left many Kenyans and lawyers in surprise.

His fellow lawyers, led by Rarieda Otiende MP Amollo confirmed his death through their different social networks.
Otiende wrote:
“I am deeply saddened to know that my senior, senior lawyer Pheroze Nowrojee has died!
Who is Pheroze now?
Nowrojee was known for his strong position to defend the Constitution and the justice that saw him collision with a different rule.
Due to the profile distributed online about him, Nowrojee became an attorney in 1965, and at an early age, he accompanied his father Ar Kapila in court rooms to pursue cases, and the love of the law grew in his young heart.
One of the cases that affected his life when he followed his father in court was the case of the murder of Mau Mau Lari in Githunguri in 1953. His father was a defense attorney.
He studied at Catholic Parochial Primary School in Nairobi before proceeding to Billimorja High School in Panchgani, Maharashtra, India.
He later studied at Bombay University, Dar-es-Salaam and later continued the School of Law in the United States.
Nowrojee was also part of a 42 -member team representing the request of a veteran politician Raila Odinga In the Supreme Court where he opposed the presidential election results of 2022.
More congratulations in honor of nowrojee
Veteran attorney and former Central Intibu MP Gitobu Imanyara also congratulated, saying:
“I know you will all be shocked as I have known that our friend, our guardian and great patriot Pheroze Nowrojee has died a few hours ago. What a loss to the law profession and to this country.
Many respects have been poured out to celebrate the life of Pheroze Nowrojee.

Judy Thongori dies
In a separate report, the legal brotherhood plunged into mourning earlier this year following the death of attorney and activist Judy Thongori.
Thongori had been transported to India for emergency service but died while undergoing treatment.
During his leadership, the brave lawyer challenged women to embrace the identity of their families as they look for work.
