The text was no different in the latest derby at the Nyayo National Stadium that at this time, there was a one -foot player in the corner of the AFC Leopards who attracted everyone.

Who is the one -leg of the AFC Leopards at the time of the derby?

Kennedy Owino, better known as Abraham Otieno, is an AFC Leopards fan who has become famous for his immediate move. A well -attended derby may have brought him instant popularity, but for those who know him, there was nothing about him once – it had to happen, sooner or later.

For starters, he is a fan of AFC Leopards. He has been a regular player every time he plays, thus making his job follow the team whenever he can.

How fanatic for AFC Leopards started

But why AFC? Abraham opens up how he has always been a football fan. Born in a family of 12 children, he arrived in Nairobi for the first time in April 2024, defending himself with nothing but hope. He had just left high school last year at Adoro Oyombe Secondary School in Ng'iya and because of financial shortages at home, he decided to try this so -called life elsewhere.

Surprisingly, before he came to City in the Sun, he was a follower of Gor Mahia Home in Siaya County.

His romantic relationship with Ingwe began when he was acquainted with his new environment in Nairobi. He had moved to his sister in Dandora Sharp Corner, and a new stadium, Dandora Stadium, who was now preparing for the Kenyan Premier League, was just close.

“When one of my walks near the stadium, I heard several songs and dances, and I was impressed. I moved closer and found AFC Leopards fans singing and dancing.

Why did he stop the Gor Mahia

AFC Abraham's first game he attended was against Compel FC, a 3-1 win, a new relationship began. And it's one that never stopped giving. From Gor Mahia, in AFC Leopards.

What happened to one leg of the controversial AFC Leopards fan?

The first opinion you get about Abraham is that of a man whose radiance does not disappear, as well as his energy on matches. But under all courage and infectious force, it is the person who carries the scars of an event he would like to forget, but is stuck forever.

He walks me on the path of the horrible night of May 18, 2014, when his life changed. Abraham, who was then 10, was on the sidewalk along Siaya-Kisumu road when a car got out of the road and hit him.

“I was selling a cane to my brother along the road when the accident happened. The car hit me and I was trapped in the middle of the car with a large stone,” He narrates bitterly.

One -foot life after an accident

As if the pain of losing your limb was not enough, more challenges followed after being allowed, where he was forced to deal with his new normal. Abraham says learning how to use crutches, as well as the contempt and ignorance taken by some of his colleagues at school, was one of the most difficult things he has done in his life.

“I used to have two legs. It took me so much time to get used to the cracks.

Abraham says that dancing was and is still his talent and even his new body situation cannot stop him from doing what he liked. In fact, it took to learn again, but over time, he understood it.

HOW THE CLUB HAS HELPED HIM

The reception she has received from fans has been amazing and is something she is eternal. It is through good Samaritans that he has been able to pay bills regularly. Her sister is doing poor work in Dandora, and any kind of income they can earn is welcome.

“I pray and trust God. This play has opened the doors for me, and I believe you will continue to open the doors for me. So when I play until I take off my shirt, some may look crazy, but I know what I do.”

With talent, Abraham believes that the spirit of teaching was rooted in him, and it was something he would like to follow at the academic level. He is currently volunteering at the Golden Star College in Dandora.

How can you help Abraham Otieno?

Otieno emphasizes his passion for teaching and expresses willingness to read the course if he can find someone to sponsor him through the school.

AFC Leopards Season

He believes they will finish in second place this season. The squad, which was out of Fred Ambani, which came out of the draw with their opponents on Sunday, is in fifth place with 37 points, 11 behind the league champions, Kenya Police.

I stopped saying that I was a fan of Gor Mahia, Abraham gives an answer that every AFC Leopards fan would be proud of.

“It's no problem, we just be. But we must finish before you.”
