Kisumu: 4 killed, 9 injured after three with Ober Boys students collided with a truck

On Wednesday, April 2, the Public Service (PSV) car collided with a cane transporting truck in Nyakach.

OCPD of Nyakach confirmed the accident and added that the three students of the Ober Boys Boys primary school were among the dead.

The police boss said nine other students heading home for April holiday suffered various injuries and was rushed to Nyabondo Hospital for treatment.

The accident on Wednesday, April 2, in the morning involved a Nissan car Three Bestline Sacco and truck property.

Citizen Digital reported that the accident occurred near the intersection of Nyabondo in Nyakach sub -county, and four people died instantly.

Preliminary reports show that three students from the Ober Boys boarding school and one sister died instantly following the crash.

Several other students suffered multiple injuries and rushed to Nyabondo Hospital for treatment.

Laurinius Odinga, OCPD of Nyakach, said three other students were seriously injured while six others suffered minor injuries.

Students were heading home after school closed on April holiday.

Police have pulled three remains to the Katito police station with an investigation into the incident.
