The tragic accident happened on the Naivasha-MAI road Mahiu on Sunday, March 30, when the victims returned home after attending a memorial service of one uncle.
The family members were speaking at the funeral of another relative, Pastor Kahure and did not even finish his death, while seven others died.
Now they mourn a total of seven family members and a neighbor's child; Such sad news can bring any family to the knees sadly.
“We heard news about the crash at nine o'clock in the afternoon and ran to Naivasha Hospital where we found out sad that five members of our family had lost their lives and there were two rescuers,” George Kahure, a family member said.
“They were transferred to the Nakuru Level 5 hospital but we lost the two children,” he added.
