The newspaper reported that two bodies have been found in the search and rescue efforts of more than 20 lost Kenyans, efforts that began on Ethiopia more than 96 hours after a border attack in Todonyang, the Kenyan and Ethiopian border region.
The attack is allegedly carried out by Dassanech militants from Ethiopia.
This follows the Kenyan search and rescue team to be officially allowed to enter Ethiopia to hunt for lost citizens, Interior Minister and National Administration Kipchumba Murkomen said on Wednesday evening.

According to the Swahili newspaper, Kenyan politics is expected to take a new direction next week, in which the President William Ruto And Raila Odinga are expected to announce their cooperation and form a coalition government.
Raila embarked on an official visit to his political strongholds, saying he was consulting with his supporters about the political stream he should take towards 2027.
However, reports from those who attend his meetings Kisumu And Mombasa's small palace suggests that the former prime minister has officially resolved to join the Ruto government.
Some of the young men who attended a private meeting with Raila in Kisumu said that the veteran leader urged them to support his cooperation with Ruto, citing the benefits of development.

Gachagua also advised Raila to choose the side of the history he wants to be. Speaking at his Karen, Nairobi residence, Gachagua said the opposition would put the Kenyan government first on the balance.
Gachagua organized a meeting with Kamba language radio stations and announced that Raila was welcome to work with the opposition. However, he said the opposition would continue to move forward even if Raila decided to stay with Ruto.
The former DP said opposition leaders are currently working to unite Kenyans towards 2027 and develop a political strategy they will submit to the public to end Ruto's leadership.

In his financial audit report for 2023/24, Gathungu noted that 66 percent of Gachagua's staff, in his Karen residence and the Harambee House Annex office, came from only one community.
The law states that no public institution should contain more than 30 % of employees from the same community.
According to the report, Gachagua's office had a total of 542 workers, of which 249 belonged to the same tribe. However, the report did not disclose the name of the tribe that dominated those jobs.
Ethnicity was among the allegations cited in the move to demand that Gachagua be ousted from the National Assembly and the Senate.
