While addressing Kenyans in Kwale County on Tuesday, February 25, the President Ruto He emphasized the need to have an integrated government that unites all Kenyans, including those in the opposition.
He confirmed his readiness to cooperate, adding that opposition leaders have also accepted the idea of working together to develop the country.
“The election is now over, and I have accepted the need to build a government that unites all Kenyans. Even those who were opposition have agreed to join us to cooperate and lead Kenya without exception, ” He said as the crowd cheered.
The recent statement by the President is on the verge of supporting Raila Odinga in his intention to be the Chairman of the African Union (AUC) Commission, a move that seems to strengthen their political relationship despite former Prime Minister's failure in the elections.
Does Raila Odinga abandon his opposition?
While Ruto pushes for a unity agenda, Raila has indicated that he has not yet completely departed from politics.

What caused Raila and Ruto's relationship?
