As previously reported, US Senator Jim Risch, Chairman of the Senate of the Foreign Relations, has accused the Kenyan government of supporting the RSF under the guise of peace.
Risch said that the RSF was responsible for the atrocities that resulted in approximately 150,000 deaths, which the United States recognized as genocide.
The senator's remarks follow the February 18 meeting in Nairobi in which RSF representatives discussed their political future.
