Kakamega – The family of the late Malava MP Moses Malulu Injendi has set a strong guidelines for politicians attending his funeral.

This is set to ensure that the event remains the main celebration of his life rather than a political platform.
The funeral is scheduled for 4 next month, with the President William Ruto Only, the Church and Families are allowed to speak during the aircraft.

The Injendi family made the announcement during a Mass of a petition held at the family's home in Lugusi, attended by close family members, friends, and officials, including Ruto Assistant, Farouk Kibet.
The family stated that political leaders would have the opportunity to offer condolences on the 3rd, the day before the funeral, but the main event would be set aside to respect the inheritance.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Melvin Malulu, the eldest son of the late MP, made it clear that the funeral would not be turned into a political meeting.
“We as a family thank you all for coming here and mourning with us. Melvin announced.
Melvin also revealed that Ruto volunteered to provide air travel to bring the body of the late MP from Nairobi to Malava, a sign that the family appreciated.

Leaders encouraged to respect family wishes
During the prayer mass, the leaders in attendance, including Kibet, praised him as a visionary and volunteer leader who worked tirelessly to bring about progress.

However, they also supported the family's views, calling on politicians to refrain from using the funeral as a campaign platform.
“Those people who will be transported to celebrate others, tell them this is not the funeral of Moses Injendi Malulu. We want a peaceful funeral,” Kibet said, emphasizing the need for respect and courtesy.
The body of the late MP will be transported from the Lee Funeral Home on the 1st for worship at the South B Catholic Church in Nairobi.
Another service will take place in the Catholic parish of Malava on 2, followed by burial on 4 at his home in Lugusi.
How did the Injendi family experience double losses
As previously reported, Inkindi and his older brother, Samuel Injendi, died a few hours later.
The politician died on Monday, February 17, at Aga Khan University Hospital, a day after his brother died.
Samuel Injendi, a retired 80 -year -old prison officer, was ill before leaving the world at Kakamega County Central Hospital.
