Nairobi: Jambojet plane crashes after hitting JKIA center

Jambojet has confirmed that one of its planes was damaged after hitting a mast at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on the night of Monday, December 2.

Did the Jambojet plane hit the mast?

In a statement confirmed by TUKO.co.ke, Company management said the accident occurred during normal overnight operations.

They also said that the plane rolled from its runway and collided with the mast and damaged its nose.

No injuries were reported in the incident, as all the workers are in good condition.

“Our team is working diligently with the authorities to investigate the matter and ensure that all necessary steps are taken to prevent it from happening again. Safety remains our top priority and we remain committed to maintaining high standards in all our operations,” the statement said in part.
