Where will the sniper be buried?
For months, Muthiani's body has been kept in a mortuary, with the family vowing not to bury him until justice is served. Good Samaritans had come forward to cover the costs of conservation.
However, after deep consideration, the family has decided to bury the blogger even as they continue to fight for justice.
Muthiani's brother, Julius Muthee, announced a new date for the funeral and asked the public to support the family.
“As a family, we have planned the 13th of December as the day to bury our brother. We are asking all the residents of Meru and the good people involved in Muthiani's murder to support the family. Even as we lay him to rest, we are still waiting for justice to be found,” Muthee said.
The funeral will include prayer sessions at the Three Mile Stadium and Sniper's home in Kabuitu.
