Many famous people, incl Ida OdingaOsito Kale, Suzanna Owiyo, Dola Kabarry, Governors of Homa Bay and Migori Gladys Wanga and Ochilo Ayacko, respectively, attended the funeral service.

All these leaders named Princess Jully as one who will be remembered forever for her contribution to the music industry.

Paying tribute to his mother, Princess Jully's only child, Makajully, thanked everyone who stood by the family at that difficult time.

He also revealed that his mother died poor due to his generosity.

The father of three said his mother helped people in need a lot and also ran an orphanage without the help of non-governmental organizations.

“My mother died poor because she could not leave a poor child at home without going to school. He ran an orphanage without any help from non-governmental organizations,” he said.

Princess Jully Talks About Wealth At Her Funeral

As previously reported, an old video surfaced of the Jaluo singer lamenting how poor he is, but said that if he dies, people will come to the funeral with big cars.

He was confirmed dead on October 12, leaving many Kenyans in mourning.

His statement left many feeling sad for him, with some urging Kenyans to save to avoid such a public outcry.
